I still have my Google Adsense account activated and I was wondering whether I should call myself a lucky adsense guy?? Well my friends call me lucky just because I have an adsense account, although having a doubt about being a lucky guy (!) around, I’m constantly looking for better ad programs. You know you can never be too happy with adsense because it has too many rules and makes too little $$! So here is the result of my in-depth search of alternative ad programs.

Lets Make some cash, well of course if you can follow my advice

Making some quick cash isn’t indeed a hard nut to crack. If you are not a dumb and you can write at least something, you can always make some cash. May be you are not a professional writer, but you can write forum posts, blog posts, articles, then you can make some quick bucks. Webmaster forums are the places where you can seek and find writing jobs. Let me elaborate on this

Forum posting jobs on digitalpoint
I am a digitalpoint member and Digitalpoint is the best place out there for the webmasters. It doesn’t matter if you are a senior webmaster or a junior webmaster, digitalpoint has got something for every one. If you are not a member yet, I recommend you to move your ass and to become a member without wasting a single moment. You never know what you are missing.

I made $100+ a month writing for others. There are webmasters on DP looking for the members to post on their forums. The normal rates are $2 for 10 or 20 posts and plenty of such jobs are available everyday. If you are lucky enough you can get jobs for 50+ forum posts and no need to mention, you can make $10+. It’s real quick cash. However as it’s a forum of real webmasters, the rates very by webmasters and by the type of work. The highest I made was $25 for 100 posts.

Article writing for the other webmasters
Do you know that you could literally make $270 per month writing articles? Doing the calculation is a no brainier. Lets assume that you write 3, 500 word articles everyday for $3 per article, that means you make $270 per month! Well that’s what newbie writers are making. $5 is the normal price of a 500 word article. However don’t expect to get $5 per article being a newbie writer. You have to build you reputation first or other webmasters will never buy your articles no matter what. You can start by offering free articles for a review or a reputation on DP. Then you can offer $2 or $3 for every 500 word article and when you have got enough reputation you are on your way to make big bucks. There are many guys on DP who makes at least $500 a month writing for others.

Writing blog posts
Blogging is a constant process, if you stop writing, your blog will die. In order to grow, bloggers have to pump in fresh content no matter what. This is why bloggers are always looking for other bloggers to ghost write on their blog’s just to keep the consistency. If you have a blog, you know how to write good blog posts, ghost blogging is for you. You can also make money posting comments on the blog’s. Whatever you do, don’t scam.. Scamming is a bad practice and if you scam you might be able to make some quick cash but you will end up loosing your membership on DP.

Few very basic tips on how you can promote your blog

Nothing comes for free in this world. So don’t expect to receive traffic for nothing. If you have a baby blog just like I do, perhaps your blog hasn’t yet built its own traffic. You’re going to have to rely on search engines, websites, blogs, directories, social book markings and or something like that. So how do you do that? No worries, I’m going to drop you few tips over this just so you don’t live under the rock anymore.

Forums

If you’re a member of webmaster related forums such as www.webmasterworld.com, www.sitepoint.com/forums, http://forums.digitalpoint.com, you can always let your fellow webmaster know about your blog. If you face any problem on your way to blogging, just open up a new thread and ask for help about the fact, you can create a new thread in the “review my site/blog” sections of the forums and learn the pro’s and con’s about your blog and quick promote your blog offering contests and give aways. Put a link on your forum signatures. http://forums.digitalpoint.com offers a great service which is, you can provide a RSS feed on every of your posts which shows under your username on a post. All you have to do is setup your RSS feed from forum user control panel and each thread and post will show your newest blog post.

Link Directories

Link directories are a good way to build link popularity. There are literally hundreds of thousands of link directories out there. Although there are few paid directories, almost all of them are free. Don’t forget to Google it for different directories. Check out webmaster forums for more. Many directory owners are looking for blogs and sites to add a link on their site. Digitalpoint is very good on this.

Blog Reviews

You can ask other good bloggers to write an honest review of your blog and in return, write a review about their blog. Do not publish both the reviews on the same date. If you post the review first, ask the other blogger to wait for at least a week before he can post the review of your blog. Honest blog reviews work out for the best so you better try not to beef up a review just so the other blogger is happy. Visitors aren’t dumb. If you write something that isn’t true and his visitors figured that out, you are in trouble and you will probably end up loosing your traffic. Thus the entire plan will fail. So be careful about what you write and don’t end up loosing your traffic. .

Blog Announcement

If you already have formed relationships with the other blog owners, write an honest, well written article about your blog, describe the subject matter, its purpose. Include some fun juice, include 2-3 links along with your RSS feed and send the article to every blog owner. Don’t be a fool and don’t write ordinary reviews. Try to grab the attention. Be smart and witty. Remember every one likes to read something funny. If you are lucky, you might get your article posted by the other blogger and if you aren’t that lucky, you will receive “NO”

Email Signature

Use your email signature to promote your blog to everyone you send an email to. Include a live link to your blog. This way your blog will get some quick buzz along with friends and family visitors. All the email readers will come to know that you are a professional blogger.

Myspace, Hi5, Facebook

Do you have any account on Myspace, Facebook or Hi5 and you get good visitors? Write a sort description about your blog on your profile and drop a brief part of your blog post on the journal section with a live link pointing at that post on your blog. When you write on the scrap book of another member, be sure to give a link of your blog with a short description.

Oct 27, another busy day and me

I miss those old days of my life. when the world was beautiful and the sky was blue! Hanging out with friends, roaming around, sleeping all day and all night long was awesome. Didn’t have any idea that I was going to have a freaking busy future. Although I love working hard, but you can never be too happy being a busy guy. At least your friends can’t. These days I get almost no time for myself thus no time to visit my friends to hangout. I go to university at the morning then to my office and when I’m home I’m busy with my stuffs, and when its 10.30pm I’m in deep sleep, don’t even have a single moment for myself!

I guess you have already figured I myself Don’t have enough time to go for a girl friend well I don’t have any problem being a single guy. It feels awesome being alone. You get a lot of time to do whatever you want. You get no restriction, no calling someone special, no more pain and no more waste of money.

However, it was just another busy day today. Just wondering why my blog posts isn’t getting indexed by Google. Guess I have got to Wait a few more days. So I’ll back again with more updates when I am done digging further.
