Traffic tips for your blog.
Submit your site on each and every popular directories.
Get your site listed on Yahoo, Msn, Google and other top search engines. Make sure your posts are fully indexed by them.
Try to participate on online business networking sites.
Encourage your readers to get your blog bookmarked on social book marking sites such as Digg, Del.icio.us, Furl, StumbleUpon and so on.
Submit your blog to blog directories. Google it for more.
Submit your site to RSS directories.
Ping the as many blog Search Engines and Directories as possible
Join online communities, discussion groups, forums. Make sure they are from similar niche of your blog.
Participate on other blogs. Drop comments on other popular and non popular blogs.
Don’t flood your blog with ads. Don’t make it look like another cheap blog.
You can run an ezine (e-newsletter).
Place links to other blogs in your blog posts and, place links to the blogs you think should be in your BlogRoll.
Join MyBlogLog, BlogSphere, BlogCatalog, TopOfBlogs to communicate with other bloggers and to develop good relationships.
You can write your own ebook about blogging and share your experience and tips. If you are already earning decent, Don’t forget to mention how anyone could make that money.
You can attend local networking groups and tell them about what you do. You can even reference your blog
If you aren’t already using social networking sites online, go sign up and make a good profile. Try to visit other members and try to make them visit your profile.

Try to guest blog on popular blogs. If you don’t qualify for popular blogs, try to exchange post with other good blogs.
Contact ezines and offer to write articles for them.
Submit your articles to article directories (isnare, goarticles, ezine article etc) and link to your blog.
If you have your own ezine, submit it to ezine directories. Search on Google for ezine directories.
Try to convert some of your existing articles into podcasts.
List important articles so visitors can read them easily. Well this is what I’m trying to work out.

Distribute and syndicate your articles via your RSS feed
You can offer free white papers or specialist documents which are branded with your blog and RSS details.
Write a review of books on Amazon.com and linking back to your blog
Get some press releases via online news services. You can try PR Web or Press Box.
Visit both the popular and non popular blogs and leave good comments. Don’t try to spam. Your spam comment will never get approved. Add some fun juice on the comment and try make the visitors interested on you. Read this post for more:
Use trackbacks when you reference other bloggers’ posts. I guess wordpress automatically inserts the trackbacks itself.
Sign up to Feedburner and Check your stats. Don’t implement adsense on your Feedburner feeds. I have accidentally placed my adsense ads and deactivated today.
Make sure you include your blog address on your business cards, email address, on the profile of social networking sites.
Use Feedburner to distribute your RSS Feed and make sure the feed delivers the full post
Put files and follow ups to presentations, conferences and seminars on your blog for attendees to read and download
