Creating a good post is a hard job. We all spend a hell of a time on writing posts and when it is finished I know how hard it is to keep your fingers away from the ‘Publish’ button.
Hitting the Publish button right after you have finished writing your new blog post doesn’t help. You should check the post for at least once just to make sure it is readable.
Spell check
Each and every time I write a new post I feel like my post doesn’t have any spelling mistake. Thanks to Microsoft word it checks and corrects all the spelling mistakes instantly. But still I do a recheck because you know word cannot correct the silly mistakes like then and than.
If you don’t have Microsoft word installed on your computer I recommend you to use firefox because it has a built-in spell checker which works really well.
Check your images
Having an image on a post makes the post human friendly. When you put a picture on your post, it can grab more attention of the visitors. But managing an image sucks on wordpress. This is where ImageManager comes into play. This plugin makes the image management dead easy. It uploads the images fast and allows you to place the image where ever you want.
Link to other blog posts
Linking to your older posts is good for seo. When you link to other older posts of your blog it makes a good internal linking. Try to leave trackbacks to other blogs. Trackback can be a good seo friendly idea and it can provide you with a good back link.
Linking to other older blog posts will encourage your readers to visit some of your old pages and search engine spiders will revisit the pages which will help you to get higher ranking on search engines.

Do you tag you post with categories?
Yap but I don’t tag my posts with 2 categories at the same time because that’s not SEO friendly.
^^ oh how come? Do u have any web links regarding this? it might be helpful.
When you tag a post with two or more different categories, se spiders can visit and read the same content with two or more different Url’s which they later consider as duplicate content. I don’t know any link yet but you can google it for more.
I’d try to implement this okay?
