Hi,
I have sign-up adword thru your link. At first, after I fill the billing information, it doesn’t work. Any way, I had already fill in campaign to advertise in my account.
Later, I login again, and this time I forgot to click thru your link. I could complete my set up after filling billing information.
My question is that, it asks for promotional code to redeem. How should I do ? Is it meant that I don’t have the right for free coupon of $50.
Pls advise me, thanks.

Hi, Pataraporn you have to provide billing information and a credit card payment of $5 as far as I know to get the $50 coupon. You should see the $50 appear in “My Account” -> “Billing Summary”. Once you sign up you don’t have to follow the link.
If the account you have created didn’t credit you with the $50, you may try to open another account with another email address and card. I’m not sure anymore whether VCC can be a good option or you won’t get banned if you use VCC.
Oh btw did you see the message “Special Offer for Yahoo! Small Business customers.
Sign up for Google AdWords and receive $50* worth of targeted advertising”? Experts say if you don’t see the message, don’t sign up.
I have asked some experts and they said the link is not working for everyone. There are guys signed up and received the $50 credit and there are others didn’t receive anything!
Don’t forget to let me know if you recieve your credit just so it helps others.
Hope you get your credit.

hi…
yup…agree with you..Dont sign up if there is no “special offer”.
Its only working for any new account ( not more than 14 day ) . You can get that coupon from any member of forum Digital Point..
ps: sorry for my broken languange
pps: actually, there are too many ways to get the Adwords promotional credit ( free or paid ). hoho.. i know only 5 ( 4 free & 1 paid )from that ways.

Hi, thanks for the link!
Unfortunately, I followed the link, saw the promotional credit message, registered a new account and I used the Debit card that I have on file on another, old AdWords account — and didn’t get a credit.
Since I didn’t get the credit after a day or so I e-mailed support on this Friday and asked them about it. Today I got a response that they could not locate any information about that promotional code within my account. However, as they say, if I had actually been given a credit, that I should have a promotional code for it…
Could it be that I haven’t cleared the cache before doing that?
Or that I have used the same debit card that I have on another account?
Or that I’m from Europe (although I read the terms and didn’t find any location restriction…)?

maybe.. it’s better to clear your cookies 1st
definitely…you can’t use the same debit card for this purpose…if not, you will not receive that credit
its not a problem..
the best solution is by getting a coupon code ( adwords vouchers )..

@ Naem, wonderful job bro! To the point answers! That’s a good spirit you’ve got there. @ Dom I honestly dont think being in europe is a problem at all. It would have worked if you have used another debit card and don’t forget to sign up with another email address.

@naem: thanks for the answers. I’ll have to try with another debit card, which I would probably do right away if I had it
@TJ: Yeah, didn’t think so as the terms would say something like “valid for U.S. advertisers only” like they usually say when that’s the case and I always use another e-mail address in such cases… (and now that I think of it, you couldn’t even open another account with the same e-mail address, right?
)

Hi!
Just wanted to say Thanks! The $50.00 credit worked for me. I followed your link and saw the message about Yahoo small business users. I filled out the registration, then put in my credit card for billing information, went back to my account information and there was a $55.00 credit. $5.00 for account activation and $50.00 balance in my account.
I had signed up for pre-paid account and authorized Google to take $50.00 from my credit card. There was a notice after sign up that said I may not see the money from my credit card credited in my account for 24 hours, so I am presuming that when it shows up I will have a total balance in my account of $100.00.
Thanks again!!
Mike

That’s a good news mike, glad this worked. Don’t burn the credit, use it for good and learn PPC.
