5 simple yet powerful ways to make your depression go away

Depression is a bad disease. Millions of people worldwide are affected by depression. It is one of the reasons to cause broken relationships, bad working day, mess on daily life and more. Everyone suffers from it at least for once in their lifetime.

It’s such a disease that at times you might feel empty. Interactions with your friends, coworkers, kids or family can be overwhelming. I have been a victim for a long time and now I have recovered from it and I know how bad it can be. Let me drop you a few good tips on how you can get rid of it.

Listen to music
When I get depressed, the first thing that I do is listen to my favorite music. I just let myself to choose the songs I want to listen to. It can be anything from rap to classical. Anything that I like to listen. Songs and music has a very special power to make yourself feel comfortable and fresh. It can make your anger a nose down. When I’m angry I listen to hard rock and rap. Linking Park, Eminem, Heavy metal kings help me to get out of the anger. But be careful and stop listening to music immediately if it triggers your anger or depression on a higher stage.

Get outside
Get out and expose yourself to sunlight for at least 30 minutes a day. Take a walk every evening. Evening walk makes you feel good and fresh. Don’t think about the reason of your depression. Ask yourself to relax and try to forget everything, wear comfortable cloths and try to enjoy each and every moment of your walk. Go to somewhere with a decent crowd. Not too crowded, neither too quiet. Try to watch, observe what everybody else is doing. Get a cup of coffee or whatever you like to drink. I don’t prefer eating if you aren’t hungry.

Talk to someone
Call a friend or call someone friendly. Talk to him or her. Be clever to choose someone who likes to listen to you. Even better if you could hang out with a group of friends. I have such a group. I like the group because the time I spend with them makes me feel relaxed, comfortable and I laugh out loud every single of the moments. I spend roughly 2 hours daily with them just to have some fun and make myself relax after a busy working day.

Aerobic Exercise
30 minutes at 5-7 times a week of exercise means those endorphins get released regularly. Just try to get your heart beat around 120-160 beats per minute depending your age and blood pressure condition. But talk to your doctor first.

Sleep
Don’t wake up late. Change your sleep routine if you go to bed after 12pm every night. Try to go to bed around 10pm – 11pm every night. When ever you go to sleep go to bed at the same time every night. Take a bath, avoid caffeine and alcohol. Turn off the lights, turn off the TV. Don’t read books and stop thinking about anything. This simple practice will help you to keep away your depression.

I sometimes do some light exercises to make my body tired. Remember a tired body is one of the requirements for a sound sleep.
