I have been very busy last couple of weeks with my studies and all. I almost had no time which is why I’m kinda having a hard time to blog. After a long test period Adsense finally have launched all new scrolling ads to all CPC text ads. Here is the announcement on Adsense blog. These ads have been appearing on many of my sites with little arrows at the base of the ad units which allows viewers to scroll forward or backward to see more ads. Here’s how they look.

I know what you are thinking, nope you don’t get paid when ever your readers click the arrows or scroll through ads but as your readers are scrolling through ads, chances are they might click an ad if they see one that is more relevant to them.

Although I wonder if this will improve eCPM but this is indeed interesting. The arrows are pretty small yet visible to who ever is paying attention to. My guess is it will increase the number of ads viewed without increasing the number of ads clicked.

Making money online is not an easy job. In order to succeed online you need to have what it takes to win the game. In this post today I’d share some of the facts you need to know about you if you want to successfully make money online.

Motivation

This is the fuel of everything. Motivation is the key to success. You won’t succeed if you are not motivated enough to win. This is probably the reason behind why anybody does what they do. If you want to grab something you have to strive to achieve it every way possible. Motivation makes you productive and profitable. My initial motivation was to make enough money so I can buy all the gadgets I ever wanted and to ask my girl out for a candle light dinner lol! Whatever the reason was, I am motivated enough to bring in the success. Once I got to the point, my motivation was to make enough money so I can pay for my college and now I want to make enough cash online so I don’t have to go for a job when I finish my college.

Goals

Did any one tell you that you need to set a goal and you need to work towards that goal? My first goal was to do something that makes me believe I can make money online. I know this sounds funny but you won’t be motivated enough if you don’t believe in your self. Once I made some cash, I set a few new goals and worked towards those. I had a part time job, although I liked my job, it pays craps! I told myself I am not going to do the crappy 9-5 job and instead I’m going to work online from my computer desk. As I need more money, I want more than anything to accomplish that goal.

Time

How much time did I waste online? Well other than useless chatting, grouping and flirting with girls a few years ago, I didn’t waste a single second of my time once I got in to make money online. It’s been around a year I have started my online money making projects and ever since every second I spent on numerous forums, blogs, sites and discussion groups. Have been learning tons of stuffs and I’m still learning. I bought my own computer with my savings, paid internet bills for the past year while I almost got broke! I kept on working and my first check blew off all my hardships. That check was a big motivation for me, it made my mom, dad and my friends believe in me. I showed them that I wasn’t wasting my time working for nothing.

There are months I worked really hard, waking up at my computer screen early in the morning and until I went to bed I’ve had my eyes on the screen and hands on the keyboard. I worn on my laptop between the classes when I’m at my college and use every second I get there. During breaks and on my way back to home I’d be on my laptop. Its not because I had to work but I love what I do. Its like a game I’m very passionate about, a journey to my ultimate destiny and I believe you should be as much passionate as I am to make whatever you want to work for you.

Plan

Well certainly you need a plan and you need to work on it. I don’t think you should run for a piece of paper and start writing or drawing your plans, as long as you have them in your mind I guess you will do just fine. I find it more comfortable to keep the plans inside my mind. I’m not good at writing out plans on piece of paper or drawing out diagrams. But writing out your plans and referring them at least once everyday will remind you that you need to work on your plans. Anyway you do, you should at least have a plan for everything.

Be Fearless, Don’t Listen To What Others Have To Say

Be fearless and take risks if you have to. You should know what you want to do and what will be the result. If you think the plan you are working on will bring you success than go for it. Don’t listen to what everyone else has to say. If your dad says you are not going to make a single dime online. Don’t believe in him, he know nothing about making money online. That certainly doesn’t mean you have to be rude, Be polite and show him some bones, show him what you got and what you can do. Words aren’t enough, action speaks louder. My dad is proud now because I didn’t listen to him and because of that I am able to pay my expenses.

Family

Family is indeed an important factor. My parents were upset about what I was doing. You know, I stopped hanging out with my friends, I wasn’t attentive to my studies, stopped watching TV and I have been extremely irregular about having breakfast, launch or dinner. But at least they were there whenever I needed them to pay my college fees and the most important thing is they provided me a place to live. Things are a lot better now as I have gradually started to improve. I hang out with friends, watch TV whenever I find a few hours to waste, trying to take food in time and although I’m having a hard time with my studies I’m working on that too. My mom and dad encourages me to do whatever I want and they are for sure the blood.

Don’t Give Up

Winners don’t give up, only the losers do.

I don’t remember exactly the person who said “google adsense is one of the best programs you can make money from” and I thought okay lets give it a try. But after letting it to waste my blog ad space I figured adsense isn’t always the very best program you can dream to make money from. You don’t get an epassporte visa card or a payoneer master debit card to quickly withdraw your funds. All you get is a lousy check for a minimum of at least $100!

Besides when you are trying to build a professional blog adsense gives a very cheap impression and adsense wasn’t doing great on this blog. So I removed adsens. Here, is exactly why I have removed adsense from my blog.

Well sounds like it was a good decision to remove adsense from my blog right? Wrong! Adsense can be very profitable if you place the ads the right place. Because of the suggestions I received from other webmasters I didn’t quite remove adsense from my blog. Instead I thought why don’t I run an image block on my sidebar? Well the idea worked and I have started to see much more clicks on the single sidebar image ad block! Here are the states,

Earnings – $4.05

Do you see the picture? Well it didn’t take me that long to realize what am I missing. So I ran a few image ad blocks and whoa! I made $11 from 30 clicks out of 5,388 impressions! And it all happened within a week! Sounds cool eh? Indeed it is. I don’t think it will take me ages to get the next adsense check for sure.

So I conclude, image ad makes more money for sure.

Keyword Research

Go to www.pixelfast.com/overture and do quick keyword research about the product you want to sell. Any keyword that has at least 1000 searches a day will do the job.

What to Write?

The work has already done for you! Go to www.ezinearticles.com and do a search on the keywords you already pulled from overture. Pick a good article and rewrite it. Now this is not plagiarism because you are not copying anything. All you are doing is having a modification on the original work done by its author. Try to add more juice to the already existing content.

These advertising methods may be aren’t perfect for blogs but what you can do to make a good constant money from them is build a webpage and some static webpages, put them up and apply for an account. Run the ads and build another website, get the site approved and put the ads. the math is simple, if you have 10 websites approved it could literally make you $50 every month! Imagine having 100 sites and you can earn $500 every month as long as you have them up which is I guess can be good amount of money for little to no work at all.
